The Ben Schreiner Concrete & Construction Company is an honest, qualified, and reputable Topeka contractor.

In December 2025, I sold an estate-owned home in Topeka, KS that was built in 1962. During the homebuyer’s inspections, the general inspector concluded that the East basement wall had moved and recommended additional review and inspection by a contractor. The buyer’s Realtor called two construction companies to inspect the basement wall: Ben Schreiner and Perez Construction.

Matt Laird of Ben Schreiner inspected the East wall for signs of foundation movement and concluded there wasn’t any significant evidence of movement. Ben Schreiner’s inspection report issued a $0 bid, as no signs of foundation movement were observed that required stabilization. However, Perez Construction bid $5,250 for foundation stabilization, but couldn’t verbally explain any significant concrete cracks or issues to support the bid.

After 40 years of experience in real estate brokerage and construction in Oklahoma, I can recognize a qualified and reputable contractor. In my opinion, Ben Schreiner Construction is the company that homeowners and Realtors should call for honest and accurate findings. Thank you, Ben Schreiner, for putting your customer’s financial interests ahead of an unnecessary repair invoice. In today’s business world, Ben Schreiner Construction is a rare gem.
